Comments:  Looking underneath the color we might rate this coin much higher, but the color and discolor reduce the eye appeal to some.  The reverse has few bag marks, and the obverse is more dull than bah marked.

This appears to be a Mint bag toned coin with a crescent of color toward the top of the obverse.  This is an interesting coin because there is a spectrum of color presented between the denticles.

The bright yellow, to green and magenta colors indicate bag toning and the crescent is often indicative of coin overlays during the toning process.  Since there is no circulation wear this would appear to be a coin than languished in some damp vault, probably in New Orleans.

Unfortunately there are no placement hints like cloth marks, so it is just a coin from a bag, but a nice one.
