Comments:  This is not one of our favorite coins and we tend to knock it down a grade visually and not based on wear.  The wear pattern is probably right for an AU 50 but the coin is dirty and dull and lacks appeal.  But all those knocks can provide you with a reasonably priced VAM 27.

 

The coin has a little color to it in the upper rim but it is dulled so much by dirt that we did not include it in our toned coin section.
