Comments:  We are glad this coin graded, but also surprised that it did.  We have had similar coins rejected as just too dirty or tarnished to effectively judge the grade.  Today we can use Photoshop to remove much of the color and see that the grade is about right.  With some eye appeal it might have even made the AU 55 grade, but it could also have fallen to AU 50 with all the bad color.
