Comments:  The grade on this coin seems a little harsh unless we are just stepping back and viewing the coin as a whole.  It is dull, but lacks the large number of bag marks we think of when we give a coin an MS 61 grade.  The reverse is a little better, but also lacks any outstanding appeal.

 

While the ear doubling is visible on the coin, with this VAM the marks on the inner ear are more easily identified as confirmation of the VAM.  On our images the ear doubling is not as visible.
