Comments:  We always like to go to bat for coins we think might be under graded, and this is one.  While it has enough bag marks to be an MS62, the marks are shallow and do not detract from the overall attractiveness.  The coin also retains a lot of reflectivity in the obverse field, and it is an early die state VAM.

 

Obviously detracting from the appearance is one dark spot on each side.  These are not true toning and probably originate with the production of the coin.
