Comments:  Not unusual for very low grade coins, the obverse and reverse get uneven wear and can appear to be two different grades.  We believe the obverse of this coin is a solid About Good 03 coin.  But the reverse could easily be a Fair 02, or on the right day a Poor 01.

 

Like a lot of coins with this type wear, it isn't a pretty sight.
