Comments:    This coin is a solid grade Good 04, although the dirt makes us want to put it as an Almost Good 03.  It is a coin without a lot of eye appeal, but then it is a Good 04.

 

On both the obverse and reverse there are some heavy scratches which probably helps establish the grade.  This is definitely a coin that has not been altered, just a well worn soldier.
