Comments:  We have no argument with the grade of this coin and think it appropriate for the wear pattern.    At this grade the coin will naturally have a lot of wear and show the use.

 

The real challenge to grading a coin below almost uncirculated is not having it disqualified by some abuse or some novice collector's attempt to make it more presentable.

 

This coin passes all those tests well and looks to be an unretouched coin.
