Comments:  It is difficult to know what to do with a coin like this one with respect to the color.  This is a solid MS 63 with some toning, but we have many others like this one and it provides very little color spectrum to analyze.  So we excluded it from the toned coin analysis.

 

The fields in the coin are nice with few major abrasions, and the cheek also is lacking any major marks.  Unlike many other coins, the reverse does not help.  The large smudge on the T in STATES is a distraction from what is otherwise very nice fields.
