Comments:  This is a relatively clean coin with some tough dings just behind the mouth.  The fields are much nicer than the device, and the obverse strike is about average with some loss of detail over the ear.

 

VAM 40 has proven to be somewhat common and this coin represents our twenty-sixth example.
