VAM:  62 - Doubled Date, Ear Bottom, and Upper Reverse

Comments:  There is a little color to the obverse of this coin, but it is just the beginning stages of toning and there is no spectrum to analyze.  The coin has adequate bag marks and other distractions to earn the MS 61 designation, and we would slot it in the middle of the grade and no more.

 

VAM 62 is one of our discoveries and it is proving to be available but not common.  One of the distinctive features of this VAM is the die gouge over the letter d in God on the reverse.
