Comments:  When we sent this coin for grading we thought it had no more than a 50% chance of passing.  The wear on the coin is appropriate for a Fine 15, but there is a little damage in the rim at 10 o'clock, and a large area of damage just behind the lower cap.  But, when a coin gets to the Fine 15 state is has seen some circulation and issues like these may have been considered normal by the grader.

 

The O Tilted Right VAM is easily identified in the 1881-O series.
