Comments:  VAM 8 is relatively common and when acquired this was our twenty-second example.  It has also proven to be available in a wide variety of grades, so some left the Mint and others stayed in storage.

 

We believe this coin to be toward the upper end of the grade, but the coin does have a dark carbon spot on each side that detracts from the eye appeal.  But for an MS 61 this is a nice example.
