Comments:  Although we don't doubt the grade this is a really scuffed up example of a DMPL coin and illustrates just how much damage a coin can sustain while still at the Mint.

 

The Dot in the mint mark is east to spot and on our enlarged images very visible.

 

We don't have many VAM 26 coins but interestingly one is an MS 61PL, so a number of higher quality coins must have stayed in the Mint even though treated roughly.
