Comments:  This is a grade that can be difficult to locate and coins seem to go one higher or lower in the minds of the graders.  So finding a solid Very Fine 35 is always welcomed.  When acquired it was only our fourth example, and the VAM 65 is a bonus.

 

VAM 65 is one of our discovery VAMs and most often appears in Mint State.  It is especially nice to find one in this grade because it begins to signal to collectors how low the grade can be and the VAM still be identifiable.

 

This is a solid Very Fine 35 coin but nothing more.
