Comments:  If this is an AU 58 coin then we would rate it toward the bottom of the grade.  Compared to many other AU 58 coins in our collection this one lacks luster and the face has too many dings for our taste.

 

There is a lot going on with the VAM 4 that the title omits.  It is clashed and has strong clash marks at the neck, back of the hair, and mouth.  We have seen examples both with and without letter transfer.  One telltale identifier is a vertical die scratch in front of Liberty's crown.
