Comments:  The obverse of this coin drives the grade and there just isn't enough on the reverse to make up for it.  With a little stronger obverse this might even make MS63.  The reflectivity on the reverse is near proof like status.

 

On the VAM 18 the most distinguishing characteristic is the long gouge through DOL on the reverse.  This one is very clear and when coupled with the date doubling produces VAM 18.
