Comments:  This is a solid AU 55 and clearly demonstrates what happens as coins are circulated.  Unlike a lot of AU 58 coins where some mint luster is retained, often at just one grade down the luster is starting to be replaced by the wear and often shininess that comes with wear.

 

The coin has little in the way of distractions and the clashes are clearly and the VAM easily identified.
