Comments:  This coin would drive the graders crazy.  It has just enough damage to knock it down in grade and not enough damage to N grade it.  The large gash across the nose and several on the cheek make it an unattractive one to most collectors.

 

But the reverse of the coin is much better, relatively, and not unattractive for the grade.  On both sides the coin is well struck and you can tell had nice detail before all the damage.
