Comments:  When acquired this coin held some special place in our collection because it was the second VAM 69 we found.  Finding a second coin in any VAM designation is important to us because it is confirmation that the discovery coin wasn't a one-time occurrence.

 

We also rate this coin as very close to proof like.  It has nice reflection in the fields and good separation between the obverse device and the fields.  The abrasions in the field place the coin as an MS 62 and not more.

 

A nice coin for the grade, but no more.
