Comments:  This is just an average AU 58 coin in our estimation.  There are no real distractions, but also no features to make the coin stand out.

 

On VAM 3 the date doubling and the mint mark offset are easily read.  But a lot of 1881-O coins have date doubling.  On VAM 3 the doubling is distinct on the last 1.  The doubling appears as a diagonal line running across the base of the vertical shaft.
