VAM:  67 - Doubled 18 and Upper Reverse

At this grade some of the reverse doubling is not as apparent in the photographs as on the coin.  But the distinguishing marker of the diagonal line above the d in God is a great way to pick out this VAM.

 

The date doubling is still easily recognized and should still be visible at lower grades.

 

We have no argument with the grade and think it appropriate.  The softening of the high points in the hair is not severe, but the dirt and grime really detract from the eye appeal.
