Comments:  No matter how many VAM 1D coins you see they are always a marvel.  This one is a little different because the damage to the eye and eye socket are not as rough.  Whether this is from die state or wear is yet to be determined.

 

This is a solid AU 55 coin and nothing more.  The fields make it look like this could have been a PL or DMPL coin in an earlier life, but those days are gone with wear.
