VAM:   38 - Tripled Left Wreath, Double Legend

Comments:  The tripled left wreath is much easier to recognize on this coin than the doubled legend.  On all our VAM 38 coins the doubling of the legend is not strong and it takes a little study to be sure.

 

This coin seems right for the grade.  There are a lot of abrasions, and even though they are light, there are a lot of them.  We believe the reverse is the stronger side, but not enough to change the grade.
