Comments:  We would rate this coin higher, perhaps even as high as an MS 63+.  It is largely free of significant bag marks and the fields are clear.  The only thing we could even criticize would be the slight flatness to the hair over the ear which would indicate a less than full strike.  But we have seen worse rated higher.

 

VAM 53 is our most common and good inventory for study.
