Comments:  This is not a coin where we might differ in opinion on the grade.  There is a accumulation of bag marks on the obverse that pretty well locks it in.  Like so many coins the reverse is nicer, but not nice enough to bump the grade.

 

VAM 65 is one of our discovery VAMs and it has proven to be readily available.  Date doubling is not rare, but the pairing with the reverse die makes this coin.  In the Eagle's right wing there are a number of fine lines or die scratches that are unique to the die.
