Comments:  This coin is a solid Extra Fine 45 coin, but probably on the lower end of the grade.  We might rate this one more as an Extra Fine 40.  It has a lot of oxidation and dirt and little eye appeal.

 

VAM 53 is our most common and can be found and identified in a large range of grades.  The date doubling and pitting are a giveaway.  The reverse has a unique die crack that runs diagonally through the mint mark.
