Comments:  We would rate this coin on the lower end of the AU 53 grade.  The excessive oxidation and dirt just kill any eye appeal.

 

The dash under 8 is easily recognized and should be visible on even lower grades.  When acquired this was our lowest grade, while we went all the way up to MS 64+.
