Comments:  The differences between Dies 1 and 2 for VAM 9 are subtle but easily identified.  The quickest identifying mark are the "teardrops" on the nose for Die 2.

 

We have no argument about the grade for this coin and think it has the dullness often see at this grade.  It is still in relatively good shape, but an MS 61 at best.
