Comments:  We have seen this many times where a really nice coin has just lost all or most of its eye appeal because of bag wear.  This is a solid coin for the grade but with so many bag marks there is ho higher grade that would fit.

 

VAM 54 is one of our discovery VAMs and this one fits right into the group.  The doubling of the right one and the mint mark offset are easily read.

 

The interesting white swirls on the reverse of this coin were caused by grease left on the die.
