54 - Doubled Right 1 Bottom, O Set Left
Discovered in 2015 by John Baumgart on our coin
Obverse Hub III2 Die 35
The right 1 is doubled as a strong notch in the middle of the base bottom. Both 8's are very slightly doubled at the lower left outside of the upper loop. The left 8 has a short die spike at the top left inside of the upper loop. EDS shows raised metal chips below 18 from the master die and on the working hubs in and above denticle spaces.

There are light polishing lines at the top and bottom inside of the O mint mark which is set left.
