Comments:  Like several other VAM 54 coins in our collection, we believe this coin to be closer to a PL grade designation because of the reflectivity shown in these pictures.  Almost all of our VAM 54 coins show this preserved state of strike and we think the camera captures it well.

 

For the grade this coin is cleaner than some, but probably right given the accumulation of smaller nicks and dings encountered in bag storage.  We rate the reverse as better than the obverse and would have hoped it would bring the coin up to a plus grade.
